Dear Nintendo,
To whom this may concern, I would like to know why you never sell your older flag ship Mario games at a sale price, we the customers are living a difficult life with rent, grocieries and what not as is, we pay top dollar for your consoles, and then games as is, and I do appreciate that you have an online store that you can buy games at a very low price, thank you.
But I wonder why a 5 year old game like Mario Maker 2 is still sold at $79.99, Mario Kart 8, which was an amazing game is the same, even though its a WIIU port, I wonder how many people would choose to opt out of purchasing a game like Mario Maker 2, as $80 is a bit steep for an older game, I wonder if Nintendo changed strategy and maybe offered some of these older games for maybe $40 to $50 if this would increase sales and encourage more people to pull the trigger and make the purchase, I know I would but at this point $80 seems unfair, and I'm not interested.
I was hesitant to pull the trigger on buying the Switch for a while, I mean the lack of the PlayStation and Xbox flagship games, and the same price tag, but here is the thing, the Switch offers a better online store, and with a SD card you can put a lot more Switch games on, so to be honest, I am happier with my Switch then if I choose an Xbox or PlayStation.
I wonder how many more people like me are not ready to pull the trigger on the several high priced games on the Switch but won't because they are old and priced to high, I wonder how much more money Nintendo could make by bringing the prices down, I mean 100 people paying $40 is $4,000 thats $4,000 more than they started with, and I can honestly see a lot more than 100 people wanting to pay it.
Just something I wanted to rant about for a while now!
